Shift: Evening Shift (Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM)
Salary: €40,000 - €50,000 (Depending on Experience)
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Team Lead to join a well-established food manufacturing company based in Monaghan. This is a full-time, permanent role, working evening shifts from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety within the production line.
The role requires a strong leader with a hands-on approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage and motivate a team of production staff. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in food manufacturing or production management looking to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate production activities to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations during the evening shift.

Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production operatives to achieve production targets, quality standards, and company goals.

Ensure all production processes comply with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and food safety protocols.

Manage production schedules, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all production tasks.

Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including production output, quality control, and adherence to timelines.

Ensure strict adherence to quality standards by conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions where necessary.

Oversee the maintenance of production equipment and machinery, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Ensure that all necessary documentation, including production logs and safety records, are completed accurately and on time.

Work closely with other departments, including quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics, to ensure smooth coordination and communication across the production process.
Requirements:

Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role within food manufacturing or production management.

Strong knowledge of production processes, food safety regulations, and quality control standards (HACCP, GMP).

Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving production issues.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
