Opportunity Summary

Hunter Savage, a specialist legal recruitment consultancy, is partnering with a leading international firm to appoint a Structured Finance Associate into its London team. This is a high-quality opportunity for a mid-level Structured Finance Associate seeking direct Partner exposure and involvement in complex cross-border transactions across the US and Europe.

The successful Structured Finance Associate will work closely with four Partners on a broad range of securitisation and financing matters, advising arranging banks and asset managers on sophisticated capital markets structures.

Practice Focus

This Structured Finance Associate role offers exposure to:

• Securitisation and structured finance transactions from structuring through to execution
• Collateralised loan obligations (CLOs), including warehouses and public deals
• Asset-backed lending facilities and diverse financing transactions
• EU and UK risk retention compliant structures and captive equity funds
• Multi-jurisdictional matters spanning corporate debt, fund subscription facilities, private equity and credit fund interests

The role includes drafting and negotiating core transaction documents, direct client contact, mentoring junior lawyers, and contributing to business development initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• 4+ years’ PQE within a recognised finance practice
• Proven experience in securitisation and structured finance
• Strong technical drafting ability and commercial judgement
• Confident communicator with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Motivated, detail-oriented and client-focused
