Opportunity Summary

Hunter Savage, a specialist legal recruitment consultancy led by Managing Director Ronan Savage, is partnering with a Magic Circle or top-tier international law firm to appoint a Structured Finance – CLO Associate in London.

This Structured Finance – CLO Associate role sits within a highly regarded structured finance team advising on complex European and cross-border transactions, with a particular emphasis on Collateralised Loan Obligations (CLOs). The successful Structured Finance – CLO Associate will work closely with leading CLO managers, arrangers and financial institutions on market-leading matters.

Practice Focus

• Advising on CLO issuances, resets, refinancings and warehouse financings
• Drafting and negotiating structured finance documentation including indentures, loan agreements and offering documents
• Advising on securitisation structures and structured credit transactions
• EU and UK risk retention and regulatory compliance
• Cross-border collaboration with international teams and stakeholders

Candidate Profile

• England & Wales qualified solicitor
• Strong experience in structured finance, securitisation or a CLO-focused practice
• Demonstrable involvement in CLO transactions from inception to closing
• Technically strong, commercially aware and confident in client-facing environments
• Experience gained at a Magic Circle, leading UK or top US firm preferred
