We are hiring for our client, a leading commercial law practice, seeking a Competition & Regulation Associate to join their top-ranked team in either Dublin or Cork. This permanent position offers a hybrid working model and the chance to work on some of the most high-profile and complex competition, antitrust, and regulatory matters in the Irish market.
This team is consistently recognised as a leader in competition and regulatory law, advising a prestigious international and domestic client base on significant merger control cases, antitrust investigations, economic regulation, and more.

The Role:
• Advise on Irish and EU merger control, foreign direct investment screening, and antitrust investigations.
• Support clients on state aid, foreign subsidies regulations, and public procurement matters.
• Provide strategic advice on sectoral regulation across industries including telecoms, energy, broadcasting, transport, and more.
• Manage complex, novel cases working collaboratively with colleagues across multiple practice areas.
The Person:
• Qualified lawyer with a strong academic background and proven experience in competition law.
• Highly client-focused, commercially minded, and comfortable managing a diverse workload.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to deliver quality advice in a fast-paced environment.
• Enthusiastic about deepening your expertise in competition, antitrust, and regulatory law.
