We are hiring for our client, a leading Belfast-based law firm, who are seeking to appoint a Finance Assistant / Bookkeeper on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful Finance Assistant / Bookkeeper will be responsible for supporting the firm’s day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all bookkeeping activities.

The Role:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and process invoices, reconciliations, and banking transactions
- Assist with monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Support payroll preparation and expense management
- Maintain accurate financial records in line with compliance requirements
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding financial queries
The Person:
- Previous experience in a bookkeeping or finance assistant role, ideally within a professional services or legal environment
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
