The Role:
- Manage a portfolio of complex commercial insurance claims across property, liability, motor fleet, cyber, and professional indemnity
- Act as the principal liaison between corporate clients, insurers, solicitors, loss adjusters, and other third parties
- Deliver proactive, expert advice to clients on claims processes and policy interpretation
- Provide regular claims updates and reporting to clients and internal stakeholders
- Identify and escalate issues affecting claims progress; propose solutions and mitigation steps
- Monitor trends and provide feedback to improve risk management practices
- Ensure adherence to FCA compliance standards and internal governance
- Contribute to the development of the team’s knowledge base and claims processes
The Person:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in corporate or commercial claims handling, ideally within a broking or insurer setting
- Demonstrated knowledge of UK commercial insurance products and claims workflows
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with a client-first approach
- Able to manage complex caseloads with high attention to detail
- Organised, proactive, and solution-focused
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and claims management platforms
- Progress toward CII qualifications (Cert CII, Dip CII) desirable but not essential
