Job Title: Programme Manager – Aerospace

We are hiring for our client, a leading manufacturer in the aerospace sector, seeking to appoint an experienced Programme Manager to take ownership of high-profile international programmes. The successful Programme Manager will be responsible for acting as the first point of contact for a number of global airline clients and will lead cross-functional delivery teams from initial award through to completion. The Role:
-
Act as the main point of contact for customers and key stakeholders, maintaining strong, productive relationships

Lead an Integrated Project Team (IPT) from award through delivery, facilitating timely, effective decisions

Manage both internal and external meetings, ensuring progress, risk mitigation and successful milestone delivery

Take ownership of programme schedules, cost tracking (NRC and RC), and escalation processes where necessary
-
Coordinate international travel and host milestone meetings with OEMs and airline partners

Apply best practice Programme Management tools including Change Management, Risk/Opportunity Management, Scheduling, Profit & Loss tracking and Lessons Learnt reviews
The Person:
-
Proven experience in project or programme management
-
Excellent stakeholder and customer engagement skills
-
Ability to multitask, prioritise and resolve issues in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Strong organisational and communication skills
-
Experience using Microsoft Office
-
Desirable: Experience in aerospace or manufacturing; exposure to budgeting, MRP/MPS, or programme management certifications (PRINCE2, APM); degree in Engineering, Science, Business or related field
