The Role
- Provide comprehensive secretarial support to solicitors within the Conveyancing and Probate team
- Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, contracts, wills, and correspondence
- Assist with title searches, due diligence, and other conveyancing matters
- Manage case files, including scanning, photocopying, and maintaining accurate records
- Prepare documentation and papers for court
- Handle post, client enquiries, and general office administration
- Liaise with clients, third parties, and other professionals in a professional manner
The Person
- Experience in Conveyancing and Probate is essential
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant
- Strong document production, formatting, and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- Professional, proactive, and detail-oriented approach
