The Role
- Provide comprehensive secretarial support to a busy legal team
- Audio typing of correspondence, documents, and legal briefs
- Prepare documentation and papers for court
- Liaise with clients, solicitors, and third parties
- Maintain and manage files, both hard copy and digital
- Support day-to-day administration within the office
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date
The Person
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary in a busy general practice
- Strong audio typing skills (approx. 70 wpm)
- Experience in conveyancing and probate is essential
- Familiarity with case management systems and e-filing (experience with systems such as Evolve is advantageous)
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a busy, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
