Commercial Account Executive – Dublin
We are hiring for our client, a market-leading insurance brokerage, to recruit an experienced and ambitious Commercial Account Executive to join their Dublin Operations team.
In this exciting role, you will lead the management and servicing of a commercial portfolio of customers, providing end-to-end servicing to a panel of mid-to-large clients. The Role
- Manage and develop a portfolio of commercial clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring high levels of service and retention.
- Provide tailored advice and solutions across a range of commercial insurance lines including Property, Liability, Fleet, Professional Indemnity, and Specialist covers.
- Negotiate renewals and new business terms with insurers and underwriters.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling, business development, and strengthening client risk management structures.
- Support and mentor Account Handlers, sharing technical expertise and guidance.
- Stay informed of insurer appetites, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in business projects and strategic initiatives as needed.
The Person
- 6–10+ years’ experience in commercial insurance broking or underwriting.
- Strong technical knowledge across all major commercial product lines.
- Proven ability to manage and retain a portfolio of commercial clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- APA or CIP qualified (or working towards).
- Proactive, driven, and client-focused, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
