We are hiring for our client, a global law firm, who are seeking to appoint a senior Legal Director or Partner to lead and grow a fast-developing Environment & Planning practice from their Dublin office. This is a strategic role for an ambitious planning and infrastructure consenting lawyer ready to take ownership of a practice area, supported by one of the strongest real estate, energy, and infrastructure teams in the Irish and UK markets.

The Role:

Advise clients on regulatory consents, planning strategy, environmental law and litigation risk

Lead the development of the Planning & Infrastructure Consenting practice in Ireland

Collaborate with colleagues across real estate, energy, and M&A teams
-
Manage judicial review and regulatory enforcement processes
-
Supervise junior solicitors and contribute to thought leadership in planning and environmental law

Deliver commercially driven, solutions-focused advice to private and public sector clients
The Person:
-
Qualified Solicitor with 5–7+ years’ PQE in planning, environmental or consenting law
-
Experience advising on large-scale infrastructure, energy or real estate developments
-
Strategic thinker with a clear vision for growing a legal practice
-
Comfortable managing team members and building client relationships
-
Highly motivated, commercially minded, and ready for a leadership opportunity
