We are hiring for our client, a well-known and respected local employer in the Ashbourne area, who are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their established maintenance team. This permanent role offers excellent work-life balance, working Monday-Friday and finishing at 3pm each day, as well as increased earning potential through overtime.

The Role:
• Perform planned and reactive mechanical maintenance on a range of equipment
• Diagnose faults, repair or replace mechanical parts and ensure minimal disruption to operations
• Welding
• Liaise with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement
• Maintain maintenance records and adhere to safety and compliance requirements
• Contribute to a culture of high performance, safety, and preventative maintenance
The Person:
• Experience in mechanical maintenance engineering
• Welding ability
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
• Wastewater experience highly desirable but not essential
• Good understanding of health and safety within an engineering environment
