We are recruiting on behalf of a leading environmental services provider for an experienced Plant Manager to oversee operations at their recycling plant based in Co. Antrim.

This is a senior on-site role requiring strong leadership, operational management, and regulatory compliance expertise. The ideal candidate will come with a strong process-driven production management background and will thrive in a role that balances daily operational control with strategic improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day plant operations and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor KPIs and drive improvements in production efficiency, safety culture, and environmental performance.
  • Manage and develop a site team, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Own the site budget and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational enhancements.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, including regulatory bodies and customers.

The Person:

  • Minimum 3 yearsexperience in a production or plant management role within a similar production environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of environmental compliance and safety standards.
  • Proven people leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage complexity, navigate regulatory requirements, and drive change.
