Our client, a leading organisation in the manufacturing industry based in Monaghan, are looking for a Site Trainer to join their team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that employees are well-trained, compliant with safety regulations, and equipped with the necessary job-specific skills.
The successful Trainer will take the lead in developing, delivering, and tracking training programs that meet both company and regulatory standards.

The Role:
- Maintain, update, and promote the company training system (LMS)
- Facilitate induction training (manual handling, food safety, etc.), including paperwork
- Enrol new employees in the clocking system
- Design and develop in-house training programs (SOPs, work instructions)
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts for instructional design
- Track and report on training progress, addressing any issues or non-compliance
- Prepare and participate in factory audits
- Coordinate first aid, FLT, Shunter, Reach Truck, and Stacker training programs
- Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and materials
- Organise and schedule training sessions without disrupting production schedules
- Maintain training matrices and records, and prepare reports for management
- Represent the company at career events and job fairs
The Person:
- Proven experience in a similar training role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with training management systems is desirable
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage individuals and groups
