Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Lisburn
Salary: Up to £40,000 depending on experience

The Role
- Lead or contribute to the design of products from concept to design freeze using SolidWorks
- Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings
- Work closely with prototyping, testing, and implementation teams
- Participate in design reviews, technical validations, and compliance processes
- Ensure all products meet regulatory and functional requirements
- Generate and maintain full design documentation and records
- Support project planning, timelines, and resource allocation
- Assist with technical support and product improvements post-launch
The Person
- Degree-qualified in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a product development or mechanical design role
- Proficient in SolidWorks and familiar with CAD data management tools
- Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes (plastics and metals)
