Job Title: Senior Quality Inspector
Location: Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday: 8am - 5pm, Friday: 8am - 2pm)

Salary: €50,000 + Benefits

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Quality Inspector to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make an impact in a dynamic and growing organization.

Role Overview:
As a Senior Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in promoting a culture of Total Quality Management throughout the site. You will ensure that all production processes meet the highest standards and customer specifications, while working closely with production teams and suppliers to address any quality concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure strict adherence to quality processes across all areas of production, including welding, machining, painting, and assembly.
  • Conduct audits of manufacturing processes to verify that quality standards and customer specifications are consistently met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and resolve non-conformances through root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Partner with the production team to continuously improve quality standards within the factory.
  • Work with suppliers to address any issues related to defective materials.
  • Report weekly internal rework metrics to management and internal stakeholders.
  • Attend and contribute to monthly quality council meetings.
  • Support the Operations Director in embedding Total Quality Management principles across the site.
  • Provide daily support to the production team on any quality-related issues.
  • Conduct Pre Delivery Inspections on all finished machines.
  • Prepare and deliver investigation and resolution reports to senior management.
  • Gather and provide feedback to the operations team for continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as required.

  • Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to assertively lead quality initiatives.
  • Experience in negotiation and working with suppliers to resolve issues.
  • A background in quality management, with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
