We are hiring for our client, an award-winning and forward-thinking engineering organisation based at our client's site in Camspie, who are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their expanding electrical engineering team. The Role:

Lead the electrical design and documentation processes for a range of technically advanced products

Design, prototype, and assess electrical components and systems, including 12/24Vdc control systems and relevant network protocols (e.g. CAN bus, Modbus)

Ensure accuracy and performance across the entire product lifecycle—from concept to production

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on validation, testing, and continuous improvement
-
Provide engineering input for manufacturing, procurement, and customer support activities
-
Participate in design reviews and contribute to root cause analysis and problem resolution
-
Stay current with technical standards and industry developments to drive innovation
The Person:
-
Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Engineering, with 4+ years’ experience in a relevant heavy equipment or industrial design environment

Strong technical background in electrical system design, including control panels (Zuken E3 Series desirable)

Proficient in PLC software development (e.g.CoDeSys)

Understanding of applicable standards (EN60204, ISO12100)

Confident communicator with solid project management and analytical skills

Able to work independently, travel when required, and thrive in a fast-paced team environment
