The Role
- Lead day-to-day management of all compliance matters related to new business acceptance
- Ensure all CDD/KYC documentation is obtained, completed, and risk-assessed
- Maintain the Viewpoint database with accurate, up-to-date client risk and due diligence data
- Review and update AML policies in line with Cayman regulations and wider industry guidance
- Manage AML training for new and existing staff and ensure training records are maintained
- Conduct PEP data scrubbing, annual reviews, and ensure timely remediation
- Collaborate with stakeholders, ensuring accurate and concise communication
- Maintain high standards of compliance oversight while working toward chargeable time targets
- Ensure proactive escalation of risks and issues to senior management
The Person
- Degree-qualified in compliance, law, or a related field
- At least 8 years' experience in a senior regulatory or compliance role
- Holds (or working towards) a professional compliance qualification (e.g., ICA, CAMS)
- Strong understanding of AML, sanctions, and regulatory requirements, especially for Cayman and offshore jurisdictions
- Knowledge of corporate, fund, and trust structures preferred
- Exceptional communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced IT skills – proficient in MS Office; Viewpoint experience desirable
