The Role:

  • Conduct product and provider research to support high-quality advice delivery
  • Prepare compliant, client-specific analysis and suitability reports
  • Support advisers with technical planning using cashflow tools and financial modelling
  • Ensure documentation and files meet internal compliance and FCA standards
  • Submit and process new business applications and liaise with product providers
  • Attend client meetings alongside advisers as required
  • Provide ongoing assistance in maintaining strong client relationships
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial services products and regulations
  • Play a role in strategic project work, adviser support and improving business efficiencies

 

The Person:

  • Previous experience in a Paraplanner or technical support role within a financial planning firm
  • Strong understanding of financial products and services including pensions, investments, and protection
  • Confident using cashflow planning tools and back-office systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage own workload, work to deadlines, and demonstrate strong attention to detail
  • Professional and discreet with a commitment to confidentiality
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or working towards (desirable)
