Hunter Savage are working in partnership with an ever growing Logistics & Distribution firm based in Dublin on the appointment of a Transport Planner.

In your new role:
- Assign customer sales to transport efficiently and in the most cost effective way ensuring that all delivery requests are met for all customers
- Plan and assign SORs to drivers and confirm booking dates
- Maintain both driver, and customer relationships
- Create reports and delivery schedules for customers
- Frequently liaise with Customer Services and Sales to ensure the smooth day to day running of deliveries to customers
- Ensure all files and records are fully up to date
- Work towards strict deadlines to ensure targets are met and up to the standards expected
- Strong focus on continuous improvement identifying ways to improve performance
What you will need to succeed:
- A minimum of one year experience working within a Transport department in a similar industry
- Good geographical understanding of the island of Ireland
- Fully competent with computers
This role will have a Butterfly Shift pattern 6.30am – 6.30om.
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday & Thursday
