The Role:
- Develop and analyse electrical circuit designs to meet product specifications.
- Create detailed schematics and documentation for electrical systems.
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot PLC programs for automation systems, optimising existing code for efficiency.
- Create and implement user-friendly HMI interfaces for machine control and monitoring.
- Manage project deadlines by prioritising tasks effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine designs and troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct tests and validations of electrical systems to ensure functionality and safety.
- Participate in on-site maintenance and commissioning of electrical and automation systems (travel required).
The Person:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience in electrical design.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, preferably with Allen Bradley and TIA Portal.
- Experience in HMI development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
