Job Description
Due to continued success, our Client, a global market leader in their field, is keen to recruit a new, permanent Reward/Compensation Specialist for their busy Belfast City Centre office.
This is a really interesting and niche opportunity.
The successful Reward/Compensation Specialist will provide analytical and project management support for various compensation programs.
The Rewards/Compensation Specialist should have at least 1 year experience managing year end compensation (salary and bonus) for a large organisation, and ideally have international exposure using an automated compensation tool.
The Role
- Provide strong consultative guidance, analysis, reporting, market practices and clarification of policies to managers
- Lead the compensation survey process, working with HR colleagues, business leaders and survey providers to ensure accurate job matches are made
- Study and analyse market data and trends to assist in the determination of salary and job grades to support the organisation’s compensation strategy
- Produce standard and ad hoc reporting
- Track key issues, practices and trends in compensation by participating in industry groups, conducting benchmarking studies and gathering market intelligence from internal and external recruiters
- Support the ongoing development of the organisations global compensation practices, policies and processes
- Collaborate with the recruiting team to develop competitive compensation offers for new hires
- Support the annual compensation review process of executives to ensure accurate and current benchmarking data is available
The Person
- 3rd level qualification
- Minimum of 1 year experience in compensation analysis with a basic understanding of survey submission procedures
- Experience managing year end compensation (salary and bonus)
- International experience would be desirable
- Experience of using an automated compensation tool would be also be desirable
- Strong IT skills with advanced understanding of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail
