We are hiring for our client, an innovative leader in robotic and automation solutions, for the exciting role of Senior/Lead Mechatronic Engineer. This is a rare career opportunity for an experienced Mechatronics Engineer who will take the lead in developing cutting-edge automation technologies and mentoring a team of engineers. The Role:
- Lead and guide the Mechatronic team in support of assigned automation projects.
- Act as a mentor to the engineering team, ensuring adherence to processes and high standards of work.
- Design and develop innovative automated equipment from concept to delivery.
- Use SolidWorks for 3D and 2D design and detailing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of systems.
- Handle technical documentation, project control, and customer communications.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
The Person:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (8+ years).
- 5+ years’ experience in Mechanical Design/Engineering, with responsibility for design sign-off, installation, and commissioning.
- Proven experience with 3D design tools like SolidWorks.
- Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- A team player with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Full Driver’s License required.
