Corporate Solicitor

Hunter Savage is delighted to be working with a leading international law firm to recruit a Corporate Solicitor for its growing Dublin team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with a strong grounding in corporate law to join an ambitious practice handling sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions. You will work closely with experienced partners and have meaningful involvement in transactions from the initial stages through to signing and completion.

The team advises Irish and international corporates, founders, investors and private equity clients across sectors including technology, healthcare and life sciences, digital infrastructure, food and agri-business.

The Role

You will advise clients on a broad range of corporate matters, including:

• Domestic and international mergers and acquisitions
• Private equity investments and disposals
• Venture capital and fundraising transactions
• Joint ventures and strategic investments
• Corporate reorganisations and restructurings
• Foreign direct investment and international expansion into Ireland
• General corporate advisory and governance matters
• Drafting and negotiating transaction documents
• Managing due diligence and transaction workstreams
• Coordinating with colleagues across tax, finance, employment, regulatory and other specialist practice areas

You will have the opportunity to take ownership of key elements of transactions, develop direct client relationships and work alongside colleagues across the firm’s international network.

The Person

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• At least one year’s post-qualification experience in corporate law
• A strong corporate and transactional background gained within a recognised commercial law firm
• Experience advising on M&A, investments, fundraising or other corporate transactions
• Strong drafting, negotiation and project-management skills
• The ability to manage competing deadlines in a transactional environment
• A commercial and solutions-focused approach
• Strong communication skills and an interest in developing client relationships
