IP Solicitor
Hunter Savage is delighted to be working with a leading commercial law firm in Dublin to recruit an IP Solicitor to join its growing IP Disputes team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IP Solicitor to work on complex, high-value and multi-jurisdictional IP disputes for major domestic and international clients across sectors including technology, life sciences, consumer goods and wider commercial industries.
The successful candidate will work closely with partners, collaborate with specialist teams, mentor junior solicitors and play an active role in the continued growth and development of the practice.

The Role
As an IP Solicitor, you will:
- Work on complex IP disputes across trade marks, patents, copyright, designs and trade secrets.
- Advise domestic and international clients on business-critical IP matters.
- Collaborate with in-house counsel on global IP strategies.
- Work as part of multi-disciplinary specialist teams on high-value client projects.
- Support IP portfolio management, licensing, assignments and commercial agreements.
- Mentor and support junior solicitors within the team.
- Participate in business development, client development and thought leadership initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues across the firm.
The Person
The ideal candidate will be:
- A qualified solicitor with 3–5 years’ PQE in intellectual property law.
- Experienced across a broad range of IP matters, including trade marks, patents, copyright, designs and trade secrets.
- Familiar with IP portfolio management, filings before the Intellectual Property Office of Ireland and EUIPO.
- Experienced in IP licensing, assignments and commercial agreements.
- Technically strong, commercially focused and confident managing a varied workload.
- Client-focused, proactive and able to deliver high-quality advice with minimal supervision.
- Interested in business development, mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to the growth of a leading practice.
