Healthcare Solicitor (1–3 PQE) – Belfast
The Opportunity
We are working with a leading Belfast law firm to recruit a Healthcare/Regulatory Solicitor (1–3 years PQE).
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level solicitor to develop specialist expertise in healthcare litigation and advisory work, acting for a wide range of healthcare providers, insurers, and public sector clients.
You’ll join a strong, well-established team with a reputation for handling complex and high-profile clinical negligence and healthcare-related disputes, alongside advisory and regulatory matters in a fast-moving sector.

The Role
You will:
Work on a broad range of healthcare matters including clinical negligence defence, inquests, and regulatory/advisory work
Assist on complex High Court litigation and healthcare-related disputes
Draft pleadings, legal opinions, and advisory documents
Work closely with senior lawyers while developing increasing responsibility for your own caseload
Engage directly with clients and external stakeholders
The Person
The ideal candidate will have:
1–3 years’ PQE in healthcare, litigation, insurance defence, or a related contentious practice area
Strong litigation and dispute resolution experience
Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines
A genuine interest in healthcare law and public sector work
