Corporate Insurance Solicitor
The Opportunity
Hunter Savage is delighted to be partnering with a leading international law firm to recruit a Corporate Insurance Solicitor to join its highly regarded Dublin team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with 3–6 years' PQE to join a market-leading practice advising insurers, reinsurers, intermediaries and financial institutions on a broad range of complex corporate transactions, regulatory matters and strategic advisory work.
The successful candidate will gain exposure to some of the most innovative insurance transactions in Ireland and Europe while working alongside recognised leaders in the insurance and financial services sector.

The Role
Working closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers, you will advise on:
- Mergers, acquisitions and disposals involving insurance businesses
- Cross-border mergers, conversions and corporate reorganisations
- Portfolio transfers and insurance business transfers
- Establishment and expansion of insurance and reinsurance operations
- Insurance distribution and intermediary arrangements
- Corporate governance and regulatory compliance matters
- Solvency and capital requirements
- ESG, sustainability and AI-related developments impacting the insurance sector
- Strategic advisory work for insurers, reinsurers and intermediaries operating in Ireland and internationally
The Person
- Qualified Solicitor with 3–6 years' PQE
- Experience gained in corporate, financial services, insurance or regulatory law
- Strong technical drafting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
- Commercially minded with a keen interest in the insurance sector
- Ability to manage multiple matters and work collaboratively within a high-performing team
