Healthcare Solicitor
We are hiring for our client, a leading Irish law firm, who are seeking to appoint an Associate to join their specialist Healthcare team in Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded team with a strong reputation in healthcare, child protection, mental health and social care law. The successful candidate will gain hands-on exposure to complex and meaningful work while advising a broad client base including public bodies, healthcare providers and regulatory organisations.

The Role
Working closely with senior solicitors and partners, responsibilities will include:
- Managing and assisting on complex healthcare and child protection matters
- Running files from inception to completion
- Taking client instructions and drafting pleadings, legal documents and correspondence
- Preparing for and attending court hearings and negotiations
- Daily District Court advocacy work
- Advising public bodies on statutory interpretation and legislative obligations
- Reviewing complex medical, social work and professional records
- Liaising with clients, third-party solicitors, medical personnel, witnesses and other stakeholders
The Person
- Qualified Solicitor in Ireland
- Minimum 1 years’ PQE in litigation, healthcare, public sector or related practice areas
- Strong interest in healthcare law and child protection matters
- Excellent advocacy and communication skills
- Strong drafting, analytical and research abilities
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines
