The Role
- Provide secretarial and administrative support to solicitors within the Litigation team
- Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
- Manage diaries, appointments, and court-related deadlines
- Prepare files and documentation for hearings and court appearances
- Liaise with clients, counsel, and court offices
- Assist with billing, time recording, and general case administration
- Maintain organised files and ensure accurate document management
The Person
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within litigation
- Strong understanding of litigation processes and court procedures
- Excellent typing, document formatting, and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented
