The Role
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for the firm, including client and office accounts
- Maintain accurate financial records in line with regulatory requirements
- Handle bank reconciliations and monitor account balances
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts
- Assist with billing and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal accounting regulations
- Liaise with external accountants and support audits where required
- Support the team with general financial administration
The Person
- Previous experience as a Legal Bookkeeper or in a similar accounts role within a legal practice
- Strong understanding of legal accounting rules and compliance requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Reliable, discreet, and professional approach
