Job Description
We are hiring for our client, a highly regarded law firm, to appoint a Conveyancing Secretary to join their East Belfast office.
This Conveyancing Secretary role offers the opportunity to support a busy and well-established property team, working closely with fee earners across a range of conveyancing matters. The successful Conveyancing Secretary will play a key role in ensuring transactions progress smoothly, providing high-quality administrative and client support throughout.

The Role
- Provide full secretarial support to conveyancing fee earners
- Prepare contracts, transfers and completion documentation
- Manage files from instruction through to completion
- Liaise with clients, lenders, solicitors and estate agents
- Conduct Land Registry searches and manage documentation
- Handle diaries, appointments and correspondence
- Maintain accurate case management and filing systems
- Ensure deadlines are met across multiple transactions
The Person
- Previous experience as a Conveyancing Secretary or Legal Secretary
- Strong understanding of residential property transactions
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Proficient in MS Office and case management systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
