We are hiring for our client, a well-established and highly regarded financial services provider. They are seeking an experienced Paraplanner – Wealth Management to join their team in Belfast. As a Paraplanner, you will play a key role in the development of investment and retirement planning solutions. You will also have the opportunity to enhance your knowledge through exposure to complex client situations, while helping produce detailed financial plans and reports.

The Role
As Paraplanner, you will support Wealth Managers by producing accurate, well-researched financial plans and recommendations for clients. Key responsibilities include:

Researching and recommending investment and retirement planning solutions to meet clients' needs.

Producing detailed, clear, and accurate reports for clients, adhering to internal and external standards.

Assisting in protection product research and providing advice on life insurance and related products.

Managing client workflow and ensuring actions from meetings are implemented within agreed timeframes.

Developing relationships with product providers to ensure smooth business processing.

Offering technical support to junior team members and mentoring them in their professional development.

Ensuring all client reviews and valuations are completed within set deadlines.
The Person
We are looking for someone with:

Experience: At least 4 years' Paraplanning experience in wealth management.

Qualifications: Level 6 qualified (or working towards Chartered status).

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of pensions, investments, protection products, and estate planning.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

Self-Starter: Proactive, self-motivated, and able to meet tight deadlines with a strong attention to detail.

Team Player: Ability to work within a team and contribute to collective goals.
