Operating Shift:
08:00am – 14:00pm (Monday – Thursday)
08:00am – 13:00pm (Friday)

Location: Drogheda, Co. Louth

Summary:

A state-of-the-art blending and bottling facility in Co. Louth, providing flexible blending, bottling, and packaging solutions to the global spirits industry. With purpose-built units at the forefront of innovation and equipped with the latest blending and bottling technologies, this facility is positioned as a leader in the sector.

Role Overview:

As the Quality & Compliance Manager, you will be an integral part of a dynamic and rapidly expanding team, playing a key role in the successful launch and ongoing development of a new operation in the Louth/Meath area. This position offers a broad scope of responsibility across various commercial functions, including blending, bottling, brand development, marketing, and supply chain management. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded skill set with a strong interest in the spirits sector and business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Management System (QMS):
    Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the QMS, ensuring compliance with ISO, BRC, and KOSHER standards by 2026-2027.

  • Internal Audits & Factory Hygiene:
    Conduct regular factory floor audits to monitor hygiene and housekeeping standards, review audit reports, and develop strategies to address any issues.

  • Regulatory Compliance:
    Manage DAFM label approvals and ensure adherence to Revenue compliance, including the preparation of monthly reports.

  • Customer Onboarding & Compliance:
    Ensure all compliance documentation is in place for new customers, and oversee the setup of technical specifications.

  • Corrective Actions & Non-Conformance:
    Take corrective actions to control non-conforming products and ensure product quality standards are met.

  • Training & Support:
    Provide technical guidance and training to cross-functional departments, ensuring staff are well-equipped to meet compliance and quality standards.

  • Team Management:
    Lead and manage the technical team, including recruitment, training, performance monitoring, and disciplinary actions as required.

  • Process & Environmental Improvements:
    Implement continuous improvements in processes, products, and environmental standards to meet customer and legislative requirements, while tracking progress against internal KPIs.

  • Product Specifications:
    Ensure all product specifications are completed and strictly adhered to.

  • Training Development:
    Develop and manage training induction and ongoing training plans for staff.
