An excellent opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a local manufacturing company. You will work alongside experienced CAD technicians, Design Engineers, and management to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support innovation within the manufacturing facility.

The Role

• Prepare technical and 2D CAD drawings for manufacturing and sales support
• Create and revise Bills of Materials
• Carry out CNC nesting to minimise waste and optimise production
• Analyse processes, material usage, and lead times to improve efficiency
• Support management in identifying and implementing Lean practices
• Prepare technical documentation and update process databases
• Monitor and report on KPIs to track sustainability and process improvements

 

The Person

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent qualification)
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
• 1 year experience working in a similar role within a manufacturing Environment
