As Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll help deliver premium products and bespoke solutions, working closely with departments across the business to uphold the highest standards of quality and service.

The Role

• Design products to meet detailed customer specifications
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications and factory floor instructions
• Coordinate prototype manufacturing and work with R&D to improve efficiencies
• Optimise designs in line with customer requirements and production capabilities
• Maintain, control and update technical documentation
• Liaise with production teams to ensure designs are manufactured to specification
• Occasionally travel to meet clients and support project delivery

 

The Person

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with design packages
• Experience in a similar position with a manufacturing environment
• Full driving licence
