Description:
We are hiring on behalf of our client, a highly regarded commercial law firm with a strong presence in Dublin, who are seeking a Competition & Procurement Solicitor (2+ PQE) to join their market-leading team. This is a unique opportunity to work across high-profile competition, merger control, foreign investment screening, and both contentious and non-contentious public procurement matters.
You’ll join a dynamic and well-resourced team known for their involvement in complex merger cases, high-stakes regulatory work, and setting new precedent in Irish competition law.

The Role:
• Advise on all aspects of Irish and EU competition law, including merger control, investigations, and compliance
• Work on public procurement matters — both advisory and contentious — across a range of regulated sectors
• Support high-profile transactions involving foreign investment screening and State aid
• Contribute to complex litigation and regulatory enforcement matters
• Collaborate closely with corporate, real estate and regulatory teams on cross-functional mandates
• Maintain and develop strong client relationships and support business development initiatives
The Person:
• Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE in competition, regulatory or public procurement law
• Experience in a large commercial or international law firm is preferred
• Excellent drafting, research and stakeholder communication skills
• Proactive and organised with a strong attention to detail
• Experience in foreign direct investment or procurement litigation is desirable but not essential
• Commercially minded and confident working across multi-disciplinary teams
