We are hiring for our client, a cutting-edge technology company committed to delivering world-class camera solutions for the scientific and surveillance markets. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Electronic Technician to join their skilled engineering team. This Electronic Technician will play a key role in maximising production output, supporting maintenance schedules, and bringing innovative products to market.

The Role:
-
Complete planned production line schedules and support maintenance

Assemble, test, and package electronic products for deployment
-
Fault find down to component level to ensure product quality

Collaborate with R&D teams to introduce new products into production

Accurately complete build and test records in the production system

Order necessary equipment, materials, and spares
-
Provide technical expertise to support production planning and continuous improvement
The Person:
-
Ideally City & Guilds, ONC (HNC preferred) or equivalent qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Relevant manufacturing experience, ideally in electronics
-
Strong fault-finding, diagnostics testing, packaging, and deployment skills
-
Good IT literacy and familiarity with computer-based production systems

Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision to meet deadlines

Desirable: Experience in CCD/EMCCD/SWIR cameras or similar industries
