We are hiring for our client, a recognised leader in their professional services field. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Credit Hire File Handler to manage a busy caseload of pre-litigated credit hire claims, working within a supportive and forward-thinking team.

The Role:

  • Manage a caseload of pre-litigated credit hire files in line with client SLAs
  • Formulate and implement claim strategies from day one
  • Engage in robust telephone negotiations with Credit Hire Organisations and third-party solicitors
  • Liaise with insurer clients to ensure clear communication and updates
  • Use legal doctrine and case law to guide early settlement where possible
  • Ensure accurate file handling in line with regulations
  • Deliver strong indemnity spend results for clients
  • Update case management systems regularly and ensure task scheduling is followed

The Person – What We’re Looking For

  • Experience handling pre-litigated claims (credit hire experience desirable)
  • Legal qualification or paralegal background preferred
  • Excellent telephone negotiation and analytical skills
  • Confident working independently and meeting strict deadlines
  • Highly organised with good IT and case management system skills
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Adaptable, proactive and comfortable working in a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate commercial awareness
