Due to continued growth and reputation for excellence, our market leading specialist manufacturing Client in the County Antrim area, are keen to recruit an experienced HR Advisor/Officer. 

 

This is a hands on, permanent HR role and an exciting time to join the business.

Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Advisor will provide comprehensive HR support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with legislation. The role offers an excellent opportunity to make a real impact while supporting the development of HR policies, training, employee relations, and more.

The Role:

  • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
  • Manage employee relations matters including disciplinary investigations, grievances, absence management, and welfare.
  • Assist in creating and delivering a training and development plan to support apprenticeships, graduate training, and more.
  • Conduct exit interviews and manage the leaver process.
  • Coordinate employee appraisals and performance tracking.
  • Provide HR guidance to employees and managers on terms, conditions, and HR issues.
  • Contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures.
  • Benchmark compensation packages and track labour market trends.
  • Ensure confidentiality in all HR-related activities.

 

The Person:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ generalist HR experience.
  • Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and training development.
  • Strong knowledge of current employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an organised, proactive approach.
  • CIPD graduate membership is preferred.
  • Previous experience in production/construction/manufacturing, or related fields is desirable.
