We are hiring for our client, a well-established, award winning, global organisation based in the Monaghan area (commutable from Aughnacloy, Ballygawley, Armagh and Keady), who are seeking to recruit a HR Coordinator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a dynamic and varied generalist HR role, ideally suited to someone with a couple of years’ experience who is ready to take the next step in their HR career. This position plays a key role in supporting the HR function and delivering key people initiatives that enhance the employee experience.

The Role:

  • Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process including advertising, screening and onboarding
  • Prepare and issue contracts, offer letters and employee documentation
  • Manage the induction process and support new employees through their probation
  • Track and support performance and engagement initiatives across the business
  • Act as a key point of contact for employee queries
  • Advise managers on HR policies, employment law and GDPR compliance
  • Contribute to performance management and absence tracking
  • Update and enhance HR policies, the Employee Handbook 
  • Drive employee engagement programmes 
  • Develop and report on key HR metrics and KPIs

 

The Person:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a generalist HR role
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards) essential
  • Solid understanding of employment legislation and best practice HR procedures
  • High attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organised, proactive, and confident in dealing with stakeholders at all levels
