We are currently recruiting for a Buyer on behalf of a leading aerospace manufacturing company based in the Belfast area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation supplying globally recognised aerospace customers.

As Buyer, you will report to the Supply Chain Manager and play a key role in delivering efficient procurement operations. Youll be responsible for sourcing, ordering, tracking and expediting materials, maintaining ERP data, managing supplier relationships, and supporting continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate placement of purchase orders
  • Maintain supplier data, pricing and lead times within ERP
  • Monitor order fulfilment and delivery status, resolving issues as they arise
  • Communicate proactively with suppliers and internal teams to support production demands
  • Lead supplier performance reviews and track KPIs
  • Manage returns and credit processes with vendors
  • Support Brexit-related customs declarations (GB-NI) via the HMRC TSS platform
  • Contribute to supply chain governance, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives

What Were Looking For:

  • Minimum 6 yearsexperience in procurement within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong track record in supplier management and cost control
  • Excellent ERP experience, with data accuracy and system maintenance skills
  • Effective communicator and team player with strong analytical ability
  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities
