We are hiring for our client, a top-tier international law firm, who are seeking an additional Commercial Disputes Lawyer to join their thriving Dublin practice. This new hire is driven by the continued success and ambitious growth of the team.
The Commercial Disputes Lawyer will play a key role in advising on a broad range of complex commercial and financial litigation matters, supporting a team that regularly acts for major clients including global brands and leading financial institutions. From day one, you’ll be involved in high-quality disputes work and benefit from strong client contact and partner mentorship.

The Role:

Advise on a wide range of disputes including contractual, shareholder, insurance, financial services, debt recovery, property disputes, and product liability claims

Take day-to-day ownership of files, acting as the main contact for clients and Counsel, while keeping Partners informed and knowing when to seek guidance

Draft legal documentation including advice letters, pre-action correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and court preparation documents

Attend court, manage deadlines, and progress files independently with support from senior lawyers

Contribute to internal training programmes and supervise trainees/interns as part of your own development

Engage in business development activities and represent the firm at events and networking opportunities

Collaborate across departments to provide joined-up legal support for firmwide clients
The Person:
-
Must have completed a disputes seat (minimum) during training, with a desire to develop a career in commercial litigation
-
Demonstrated experience acting for commercial clients in disputes in a private practice setting
-
Knowledge of Irish court procedure and litigation processes, including ADR (arbitration/mediation experience is a bonus)

Strong legal drafting and research skills with high attention to detail

Organised, commercially aware, and comfortable managing multiple cases in a busy, collaborative environment

Confident communicator and team player, who brings enthusiasm and resilience to a high-performing team
