We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading electronics manufacturing company based in Co. Down. With a reputation for engineering excellence, flexibility, and quality, this business supports global customers across Aerospace, Defence, Telecoms, Renewable Energy, and Oil & Gas markets.
Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Manager to join the Senior Management Team. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving quality performance, regulatory compliance (ISO 9001, ISO 14001), and continuous improvement across the business.

Broad Scope – Oversee quality across all areas: supplier performance, internal processes, compliance, audits, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Quality function and ensure ongoing ISO 9001 and 14001 compliance
- Drive continuous improvement in product quality, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction
- Develop and maintain quality systems, procedures, KPIs, training, and internal auditin
- Liaise with auditors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure quality goals are met.
- Manage supplier quality, returns, concessions, calibration, and documentation
- Support implementation of data collection systems and improvement initiatives across the factor
- Lead, develop, and mentor the Quality team
The Person:
It is anticipated that the successful candidate will come from a similar background and will be looking for the next challenge in their career. Self-starting and motivated, applicants will also need to satisfy the following:
- Degree-qualified
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Quality Management role within manufacturing.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems
