We are hiring for our client, a leading food manufacturing company with a global presence, who are seeking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join their highly skilled engineering team at their site in Lurgan. The Role:

  • Carrying out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of automated production equipment

  • Troubleshooting faults across mechanical, electrical and control systems (including PLCs)

  • Supporting engineering improvements and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant

  • Ensuring all maintenance activity is carried out in line with health & safety and quality standards

  • Working collaboratively with the wider production and engineering team to minimise downtime

The Person:

  • A recognised engineering qualification in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics (Level 3 minimum)

  • Proven experience in a Maintenance Engineer role within an automated, fast-moving production environment

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills across electrical and mechanical systems

  • Experience working with PLC-controlled machinery.

  • A proactive attitude and commitment to team collaboration and safe working practices
