The Role:
- Support plant maintenance teams with troubleshooting and resolving control-related issues.
- Maintain and optimise PLC, HMI, and other automation systems to ensure operational efficiency.
- Oversee the calibration and maintenance schedule for site instrumentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Foster strong cross-functional relationships to support operational excellence.
The Person:
- Degree qualified in Electrical/Automation/Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in a fast-paced production line.
- Proficient in PLCs (Siemens and Allen Bradley), HMI systems, SCADA, and communication protocols eg Ethernet Ip/Modbus
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Adept at working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
