Salary up to €50,000
An excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join an award winning, innovative manufacturing company based in Co. Wexford. Reporting to the Design Manager you will lead the design and development of new steel based products.

The Role:
- The design and re-design of new and existing products
- Design of associated production tooling, Jigs & fixtures, material handling and storage solutions.
- Complete product design improvements from concept to installation.
- Assist production with engineering support and guidance.
- Co-ordinate with colleagues to support the sales team with technical specifications, sales drawings, site visits and technical advice.
- Follow company processes relating to equipment design.
- Produce CAD models and drawings using 2D and 3D CAD systems.
- Ensure drawings meet the company’s design specifications.
The Person
- Degree in mechanical engineering
- Proficient in SolidWorks
- Experience in a similar design role
