Job Description
Due to a period of continued growth, our client is seeking to hire an experienced Legal Secretary to join their growing presence in Dublin. This position is with a leading firm in the Healthcare sector with an exceptional reputation and a collaborative, inclusive working environment.
Supporting a Senior Partner and Fee Earners, the successful person will perform administrative duties to assist with the smooth running of the department. Daily duties will include:
- Managing documentation to include scanning and printing of documents, e-filing and updating of fee earner files
- General administration to include Mimecast, diary planning, booking meetings, emails and opening and closing case files
- Adhering to all manual and electronic filing systems
- Dealing with telephone calls and assisting clients
- Researching and summarising legal information
- Issuing legal correspondence
- Amending large volume documents
- Assisting relevant fee earners in the conduct of files as required
- Billing and invoicing
Essential Criteria:
- 1-2+ years’ recent previous experience working as a Legal Secretary in a busy department.
- Currently working in a Legal Secretary role or in a secretary role within a Professional Service Setting with prior Legal Secretary experience.
- Excellent working knowledge of PDF, MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook with experience in formatting and reformatting legal documents
- Experienced in opening and closing of case files, with experience of billing/invoicing
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral with exceptional attention to detail
