Senior Management Accountant

Description:

Hunter Savage are delighted to support an excellent organisation in Belfast, who are seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

• Hybrid working

The Role:

• Lead and manage a collaborative team of management accountants, fostering high performance.
• Review and ensure accuracy of management accounting team's work, providing constructive feedback.
• Oversee timely completion of tasks, implementing strategies for efficiency.
• Identify and address training needs, providing ongoing development for the team.
• Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Act as primary liaison between management accounting team and Head of Finance, facilitating communication.

The Person:

• Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in management accounting.
• Exhibits strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Displays in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting, alongside proficiency in computerised finance packages and Excel.
