Senior Associate – Accounts Department

A leading Mid Tier Accountancy Practice is looking for a Newly Qualified Accountant to join this growing and highly successful team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience working with a variety of clients, preparing accountant reports, statutory reports and management accounts. This role works closely with the Audit department so would suit someone recently qualified who would like to diversify away from audit work.

The Role:

• Manage and oversee a portfolio of small clients, ensuring excellent service delivery and client satisfaction
• Prepare and review accountant reports, statutory accounts, and management accounts in compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Provide technical accounting advisory services to clients, assisting them with complex accounting issues and ensuring adherence to accounting principles
• Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the department
• Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing professional guidance on accounting matters
• Assist in developing and implementing accounting outsourcing solutions for clients as needed

The Person:

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong technical accounting skills with the ability to provide advisory services to clients.
• Proven ability to produce quality financial work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Good analytical and problem solving abilities
• The ability to coach and develop others
• A proven track record of providing exceptional service and establishing and maintaining strong relationships
