Employment Solicitor
We are seeking a talented Employment Solicitor to join a busy, growing Employment team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious, driven, and qualified candidates to gain exposure to a wide variety of employment law matters across domestic and international clients.
About the Role
The Employment team handles a diverse range of work spanning advisory, transactional support, and contentious matters, including:
- People Risk Management: Workplace investigations, protected disclosures, disciplinary matters, exits, and severances
- Employment Litigation: WRC, Labour Court, and Circuit Court disputes, including board, shareholder, and senior C-suite matters
- Mediations: High Court/WRC
- Corporate Transactions: Share sales, asset sales (TUPE), vendor and buyer due diligence, negotiation of transaction documents
- Advisory Work: Policies, handbooks, contracts
- Industrial Relations: SEOs, industrial action, WRC/Labour Court matters
- Corporate Immigration & Benefits: Pensions and insured benefits
You will work directly with an experienced partner and associate, supported by a dedicated trainee, gaining hands-on experience with complex, high-profile employment matters. The team also encourages involvement in business development, client meetings, and seminars, offering significant opportunities to learn and progress.
Experience & Skills Required
- Minimum 1 year PQE as an Employment Solicitor (top-tier corporate or specialist employment firm preferred)
- Employment law experience during traineeship is ideal
- Strong academic background
- Excellent drafting and written communication
- Collaborative and client-focused, able to build relationships and work well in a team
